
Arab contractors will rehabilitate roads in the center region
The Minister of Public Works announced that the Egyptian company has won a market of 31 billion for the cause.
72.5 km will be rehabilitated by Arab Contractors in the center region. The Egyptian company has won the market of 31.09 billion put in competition for this project. The announcement was made by Emmanuel Nganou Djoumessi, the Minister of Public Works.
Arab contractors obtained the contract through an over-the-counter procedure authorized by the Presidency of the Republic. The works, which will last 24 months, concern the Nkolbisson interchange-Zamengoué-Ekekam-Evodoula interchange road (43.95 km) and the Ekekam-Monatélé section (28.5 km).
At the end of the works, the city of Monatélé will be connected to Yaoundé by a direct road. Arab Contractors will certainly need to be accompanied by SMEs/SMIs in this initiative in order to meet the deadlines.
