Spx staff trained in the use of the coleps platform
The half-dozen participants acquired the skills necessary to operate this revolutionary platform in the future.
The COLEPS (Cameroon OnLine E-Procurement System) platform no longer holds any secrets for the staff of the Subcontracting and Partnership Exchange of Cameroon (SPX-CMR). On March 17, six members of the team participated in a training session led by officials from the Ministry of Public Contracts. The trainers provided hands-on experience with the platform's various features, ranging from the publication of tender notices to online submission and bid opening.
A result of cooperation between Cameroon and South Korea, this single-window web system is central to the digitalization of public procurement at the national level. By mastering this moderne-procurement tool, SPX-CMR aligns itself with the strategy to modernize Cameroonian administration through ICT—a vital step toward optimizing transparency and efficiency in the execution of the state budget.
This skill upgrade is a key milestone for the future, as this digital component is expected to evolve significantly over the next five years.
