The geotechnical, technical and architectural plans have already been drawn up. The construction cost of the building is estimated at more than 10 billion CFA francs

 The Cameroon Subcontracting and Partnership Exchange (SPX-CMR) will soon have a futuristic headquarters. The architectural, geotechnical and technical studies for the construction of the building have been completed. The commission set up and made up of various organizations and institutions validated them after five meetings where each time amendments were made to the work carried out by the firm called Groupement Setrec Aui-Valoris.

The cylindrical structure of the SPX headquarters building will be built on a total area of 1614 m2. The estimated cost of its construction proposed by the firm Setrec Aui-Valoris following the financial study of the project amounts to ten billion five hundred three eight million five hundred and forty thousand (10,503,540,000) Fcfa.

Some office apartments in the planned building should also be given to third parties for rental needs. “In terms of rental resources, depending on the standing option chosen, the SPX headquarters building operation is a profitable operation for potential investors”, notes the financial study carried out by the firm Setrec Au-Valoris.

A futuristic building with 15 levels

The headquarters building of the Cameroon Subcontracting and Partnership Exchange will have 15 levels comprising two basements, four elevators and stairs, a large hall, offices, conference rooms, a large restaurant with a terrace among others. Located at a place called Bonabo on the northern extension of Boulevard de la République, 500 meters from the Pont Bonabassem crossroads, it will overlook this boulevard with a panoramic view of the Wouri River and its tributaries.

Illegal occupants occupying the site were cleared out and the site secured. "We have launched the search for funding and partners for its construction and to date, the prospects are promising", rejoices Evariste Yameni, the Executive Director of the SPX. Any other interested financial body is thus welcome.
