Equipping smes for quality management
On 16 and 17 July, the BSTP-CMR is holding a seminar in Douala on setting up a Quality Management System (QMS) tailored to the realities of subcontracting SMEs. Registration for interested companies remains open across all of the institution's dedicated platforms.
Dear Sir or Madam,
In an environment where the requirements of contract-awarding companies keep growing more demanding, quality has become a key factor in standing out and gaining access to markets. According to the 2025 economic report of the Cameroon Subcontracting and Partnership Exchange (SPX-CMR), and despite improving commercial performance, many subcontracting SMEs still face significant challenges: customer complaints, contract suspensions, skills mismatches and the underuse of production capacity. In most cases, these difficulties reflect the absence or the weak structuring of quality processes within companies.
To address these issues, the SPX-CMR is organising a practical, strategic seminar dedicated to setting up a Quality Management System (QMS) adapted to the realities of subcontracting SMEs. It will take place from 16 to 17 July 2026 at the Bano Palace Hotel, Douala – Akwa, starting at 8:00 a.m.
This training aims to support companies in adopting a quality approach compliant with the ISO 9001:2015 standard, in order to strengthen their organisation, improve their performance and broaden their access to subcontracting opportunities.
During this seminar, participants will have the opportunity to:
- Understand the principles and requirements of a QMS in relation to the expectations of contract-awarding companies;
- Put in place a straightforward quality approach suited to their size and resources;
- Structure their processes to better manage non-conformities and improve customer satisfaction;
- Strengthen their credibility and competitiveness in the marketplace;
- Increase their chances of success in calls for tender.
Because a company built around quality today inspires confidence, secures its contracts and establishes a lasting position in the most demanding markets, we invite you to confirm your participation via the following contacts (WhatsApp: 696 466 719 – 690 116 908 / email: bstp.ccima@gmail.com).
We look forward to your response and remain, Dear Sir or Madam, yours faithfully.
