A gathering to break the taboos of leadership in business management
This 15 July, the Cameroon Subcontracting and Partnership Exchange is holding another "Leaders' Club" session for the benefit of SMEs, on the theme "The challenge of personal leadership in Cameroon's business climate." SMEs and large companies alike are invited to take part in this masterclass, scheduled at the Bano Palace Hotel.
The series of coaching sessions launched by the Cameroon Subcontracting and Partnership Exchange (BSTP-CMR) for the benefit of SMEs reaches its sixth edition this Wednesday, 15 July 2026, from 5:00 p.m. at the Bano Palace Hotel in Douala. On this occasion, SMEs and large companies will be equipped with the principles and mindsets to embrace and adopt in order to break down every taboo surrounding leadership in business management.
This new masterclass is part of the series "Running your SME like a real business: performance, governance and leadership codes to move from survival to growth," and its theme is "The challenge of personal leadership in Cameroon's business climate." The aim is to give participants the keys to govern their own lives in order to sustain their business over the long term. Many of these insights were already shared with the SME leaders who took part in the first five editions, the most recent of which was held on 10 June.
After a presentation of the event and the theme and a definition of the session's objectives, participants will be invited to share their own experiences of the challenges and successes tied to the topic. This will be followed by cross-cutting plenary discussions around two or three concrete cases raised by the group. These might relate, for example, to strategic vision, to the growth of the business, or to the survival of the company or activity.
The Leaders' Club sessions carry on and generally close with recommendations and a summary of the key insights. Personalised, concrete action items are also assigned to participants, along with specific commitments.
