The subcontracting and partnership exchange of cameroon is organizing a training on subcontracting contract management for large companies and smes/smis on october 10 and 11. the institution will provide participants with the tools to implement and manage subcontracting contracts.
Major local companies and SMEs/SMIs are invited to express their interest in participating in the seminar of October 10 and 11 in Douala. The seminar aims to provide the major companies with the tools to better develop subcontracting contracts, select subcontractors and monitor the execution of the work. The latter, particularly subcontracting SMEs/SMIs, will better understand the expectations of contracting authorities in the future and will be equipped to better meet their requirements. The Subcontracting and Partnership Exchange of Cameroon, organizer of the training, intends through this capacity building to equip participants "with the skills needed to manage subcontracting contracts optimally", maintains Evariste Yameni, its Executive Director. For him, "effective management of subcontracting contracts is crucial to avoid conflicts, controlcosts, guarantee the quality of services, and comply with legal obligations".
The two days training will revisit several modules relating to the building and management of subcontracting contracts and will be structured around theoretical presentations, practical case studies and interactive discussions. At the end of the training, participants will be able to: effectively develop and manage subcontracting contracts; identify the key clauses to include in a contract to protect the interests of their company; manage risks and resolve disputes in the event of non-compliance with contractual terms, among others.
