As part of the KIKOT-MBEBE hydroelectric development project, KIKOT-MBEBE HYDRO POWERCOMPANY (KHPC), acting as the project owner, is launching a Callfor Tenders for technical studies related to the electrical connectionof the project’s living base.

KIKOT-MBEBE HYDROPOWER COMPANY (KHPC) is recruiting a consulting firm to design a 30kV power line from the Njock-Kong substation (toward Boumnyebel in the Ngo-Mapubi District) to the project’s living base site located in the village of TOMBI (inthe Bot-Makak District), covering a total distance of approximately 45km. The selected bidder will not be allowed to participate in the subsequent tender forthe execution of the works resulting from these studies.

Participation Conditions and Bid Composition

The Call for Tenders is open to all interested bidders, whether Cameroonian or international, provided they meet the eligibility criteria and possess the required technical expertise.Temporary joint ventures and subcontracting are permitted, provided they are included in the bid. Bidders must demonstrate the highest level of professional ethics and must not be bankrupt or have been excluded from contracts due to corruption or fraudulent practices.

Bidders must structure their proposals into three distinct parts:

1. An administrative file
2. A technical proposal
3. A financial proposal

Bidders’ proposals must remain valid for 90 working days from the bid submission deadline. The bank guarantee for the bid, which must be submitted on a first-demand basis, will also bevalid for 90 days.

Bidders will access the Tender Dossier and submit their proposals via a dedicated virtual tendering platform. Requests for access to this platform should be sent to appeloffres.kikot@khpc.cm. Onlybids submitted through this platform will be considered. All communications and documents on the platform will be in French.

The Call for Tenders opens on June27, 2025, at 12:00 PM (Cameroon time, GMT+1), and the deadline forbid submission is August 8, 2025, at 6:00 PM (Cameroon time,GMT+1).
