SAREPS(Southern Regional SME Fair) will take place from March 25–28, 2025, in Kribi, under the high patronage of the Governor of the Southern Region.

Participation Requirements

  • Open to: SMEs, startups, project holders, SME incubators, vocational/university training centers, financial institutions, mutuals, and public/private administrations.
  • Registration:
    • In person at the Regional Delegation of MINPMEESA (Ministry of Small and Medium-Sized Enterprises, Social Economy, and Handicrafts) in Ebolowa or the Departmental Delegation of MINPMEESA for the Ocean Division in Kribi.
    • Online via designated contacts, upon payment of exhibition stand fees (receipt required).

Event overview

The Cameroonian government, committed to revitalizing and empowering SMEs,has implemented multiple strategies to connect SMEs with contractawarders, funders, and partners. These efforts aim to provide SMEs with opportunities for:

  • Business growth, investment, and knowledge-sharing.
  • Enhanced visibility and localization of design, production, maintenance, and other industrial functions.

The inaugural Southern Regional SME Fair will be held in Kribi under the theme:
“Southern SMEs: tackling competitiveness challenges for effective subcontracting.”

Preparatory meeting highlights

The first planning meeting took place this morning at the Kribi City Council Hall,chaired by the First Prefectural Deputy. Attendees included:

  • Mr. Messina Pascal Paulin, Regional Delegate of MINPMEESA for the South.
  • Representatives of the Mayor of Kribi and Deputy Mayors of Kribi 1 & 2.
  • Mrs. Ada Bidjoh Michelle, Departmental Delegate of MINPMEESA for the Ocean Division.
  • Project holders, incubators, and other stakeholders.

Event leadership & objectives

Under the patronage of the Governor of the Southern Region and sponsored by the President of the Southern Regional Council, the fair aims to:

  • Strengthen the competitiveness and subcontracting efficiency of Southern Cameroon’s SMEs.
  • Engage key targets: economic operators, financial institutions, SMEs, local governments (CTDs), incubators, and university training centers.

Today’s meeting focused on mobilizing stakeholders to ensure strong participation in this historic first edition for the Southern Region.
